Jill Sanguinetti grew up in the Victorian country town of Kyabram and went to Methodist Ladies' College as a boarder from 1958-1961. After many years as a teacher in schools, community centres and TAFE colleges, her passion for teaching led her to undertake a PhD in education policy. She spent 10 years lecturing and researching in the School of Education at Victoria University before becoming a writer. School Days of a Methodist Lady is her first book.
